Why am I running???
Because 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with Epilepsy in their lifetime.
Because Epilepsy can strike at any time.
Because most people don't know what to do when they come in contact with someone who is having a seizure.
Because the public needs to be educated.
Because we need to find a cure.
Because, because, because!!!
Epilepsy is the most common serious brain disorder worldwide with no age, racial, social class, national nor geographic boundaries (World Health Organization). Seizures steal moments and memories, can change lives, impact development, affect learning and can even result in death. There is no cure.
For the reasons above and many more, I am participating in the Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena to join in the fight to END EPILEPSY.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. Your involvement provides care, advocacy and education today while investing in research and hope for tomorrow.
Your contribution makes a difference.
