Welcome to My Personal Page for Team Jack: The Sequel!
Hello all, Welcome to my Personal Page. Everything typed below is the same as in my email! Yay!
Anna, Jack and myself will once again be participating in the Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena to END EPILEPSY. I am writing to you in the hopes that you will sponsor us and make a donation on our behalf.
For those of you who do not know Jack's story, at four months old he suffered from a debilitating form of seizure that if not properly treated could have severely impacted his development and quality of life. In true Jack fashion, he fought and overcame it and is now going on 2 years seizure free, which makes us one of the lucky ones for whom epilepsy is not a huge part of daily life. But we are only able to say that because of the tremendous work done in the neurology department at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Without them, my son Jack would not be where he is today, so as a way to give back we have pledged to raise money for the Walk to End Epilepsy -- this organization is a huge supporter of the CHLA Neurology department and we are told that it would not be what it is today without their help and support. For these reasons and so many more, we ask for your support by making a donation to a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.
If any LA friends would like to join our team (Team Jack: The Sequel) and come out and walk with us, feel free to contact me and I can let you know how you can do so. We will all once again be wearing t-shirts of famous Jacks (I can't promise you that I won't be wearing another Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China t-shirt, but who knows, there's lots of time).
Otherwise, please support our efforts by making a donation and forwarding along to anyone you may know or that we may have missed that would like to contribute to the cause. Your involvement provides care, advocacy and education today while investing in research and hope for tomorrow.
Your contribution makes a difference and means a lot to myself, Anna and Jack. Thank you!
