Seize the Day! (Hey I'm Allowed to Joke About Them)
My personal battle with epilepsy began almost 20 months ago, when I was first diagnosed with adulthood onset epilepsy. Despite a variety of medical approaches, my seizures remain uncontrolled. But my hope that they will eventually respond to treatment remains strong.
So in support of the nearly one-third of epilepsy patients who, like me, have an intractable form of the disease, I am participating in the Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena.
Please support my efforts by making a donation, joining me at the Rose Bowl or simply writing "fuck epilepsy" in the comment section on Facebook. (Sorry for the language, mom, but fuck epilepsy.)
Your contribution makes a difference. Please give or I will have my neurosurgeon send you the pics he took while he was resecting my parietal lobe. (Just kidding. I don't want to see them and some of you sickos would probably enjoy them too much.)
