Fighting For Finn
Seizures steal moments and memories, can change lives, impact development, affect learning and can even result in death.
There are no cures.
Team Fighting for Finn is back and gearing up for the 2017 Walk to End Epilepsy! We are ready to come together to raise money and awareness for a cause so close to our hearts. Every epilepsy journey is different, but each one of them is a trivial piece of the puzzle we are helping to solve... to END EPILEPSY.
Our SuperFinn (now 6) has come such a long way since his epilepsy journey began back in 2013. After failing 7 different medications, starting his "magic diet" (motified keto) and receiving his "super powers" (VNS implant) we are so so happy to say that he is living life in a big way.. and seemingly seizure free! He is full of life and reaching for the stars. While the future is unpredictable, and we still dream of normal eeg results, complete freedom from medication, diet therapy, routine blood draws, implant devices.. we celebrate each day for the complete gift that it is and are grateful beyond measure to be fortunate enough to have found treatments that are working!
We urge you to join us in the Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. Help make a difference and join the fight to END EPILEPSY.
