2017 Walk to End Epilepsy

The catastrophic impact that epilepsy has had on our son, Clayton, was the catalyst to inspire our family to connect with and support the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles for the past 15 years.

The first six months of Clayton's life began with the jubilation of his birth to a rapid shift of responding to the perpetual onslaught of seizures that robbed him of sleep, sight, sound, intentional movement, laughter, and infant normalcy. Clayton's diagnosis of a rare type of epilepsy propelled us into a hyper-drive mode of survival previously unimaginable to us. While the grim prognosis by multiple experts in Epileptology should have left us with no hope, the love and support gifted to us by our family and friends elevated and empowered us, as Clayton's parents, to fight for him through research, advocacy, forming community and outreach, and the desire to improve the quality of life for all individuals living with epilepsy.

This is our 13th year recruiting Clayton's Super Humans for the Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena.

Please support our efforts by making a donation to the team or a member of the team. Your involvement provides care, advocacy and education today while investing in research and hope for tomorrow.
